Mass Graves with over Executed 400 Civilians Found in Iraq's Kirkuk

  • Iraqi authorities have told media that they have found mass graves in the disputed Iraqi province of Kirkuk’s al-Bakara area. Authorities believe the mass graves are of the civilians executed by the notorious terrorist organization ISIS. Iraqi military’s Colonel Murtada Abbas of the 60th Brigade told media that the witnesses to the mass graves led them to the areas where around 400 civilians were dragged and executed by ISIS. Five mass graves are reportedly present in the al-Bakara area of Kirkuk. Reports say the governor of Kirkuk has asked the Iraqi authorities as well as Commission of Human Rights to visit the mass graves and conduct DNA tests for identifying victims.
