  • Explosive-laden car devastates police HQ in Turkey

    At least five people were killed when a car bomb blast hit a police headquarters in Turkey. As per media reports, around 36 people were injured in the blast which occurred in Cinar district, Diyarbakir province. Rescuers are searching through the rubble. A woman and a baby are reported to have been killed in the blast. Turkish officials have blamed the Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) militants for the blasts; however, no group has so far claimed responsibility for the attacks.
