Man leaves murder plans on computer
May 1 , 2014
An Australian man made step-by-step plans on how he would kill someone and not get caught but forgot to delete the plans from his computer.
The 26-year-old Gareth Giles has now been sentenced to 26 years behind bars for breaking into the home of the victim and burying his body after strangling him.
ABC Australia reports that his list begins with catching a bus to the victim's home and includes details such as tying him up with a duct tape and rope. "The crime was entirely motiveless, except for your expressions to your friend about your curiosity and desire to see what it felt like to kill, all of which makes you a person that may be considered very dangerous to our community," the judge said.
