Mali reports second Ebola death

  • A nurse in Mali has died of Ebola, the country’s second confirmed fatality from the deadly disease, according to media reports.

The nurse had reportedly treated a person who had come from Guinea at Bamako’s Pasteur Clinic.

Last month, a two-year-old girl in Mali had died of Ebola.

The outbreak has claimed around 5,000 lives in the west African countries of Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Liberia.

Meanwhile, due to fears of an Ebola outbreak, Morocco won’t be hosting next year’s Africa Cup of Nations.
