Maldives Supreme Court revokes orders after arrests

  • The Supreme Court of Maldives has revoked its decision of freeing 9 convicted politicians just hours after the arrest of two judges of Supreme Court. The remaining 3 judges have taken the decision and have issued a statement saying the order has taken a U-turn in light of the concerns raised by the president.
