Malaysia bans its citizens from traveling to North Korea

Malaysia has banned its citizens from traveling to North Korea. According to media reports, the decision was taken because of increasing tensions in the region following the missile test by North Korea. The Malaysian foreign ministry stated that once the situation returns to normal, Malaysia would review the travel ban. Meanwhile, the Malaysian soccer team has a match with North Korea in Pyongyang on October 5. It is not yet known whether the Malaysian team will be traveling to North Korea following the ban.
