Macedonia: Protests continue as opposition demands PM's resignation
May 18 , 2015
Protesters in Macedonia’s capital Skopje have said that they will continue their demonstrations until Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski steps down.
A massive anti-government rally was held on Sunday after the opposition released recordings that purportedly showed ministers in a vote-rigging plot and a murder cover-up.
Gruevski, the country’s long-standing prime minister, has refuted the allegations.
The government has accused the opposition of attempting to destabilize the country and overthrow the regime.
