London: Police treating Tube station stabbing as a 'terrorist incident'

  • A stabbing at the Leytonstone Tube station in London is being probed as a “terrorist incident”, according to the UK police.

    A knife-wielding man who reportedly attacked commuters on Saturday evening was heard shouting “this is for Syria”. While one victim suffered serious injuries, two others received minor wounds, authorities said.

    The suspect has been arrested after he was Tasered by the police.

    The Met's counter-terrorism unit has urged the public “to remain calm, but alert and vigilant”.
