  • Several passengers die as trains collide in Germany

    Several people were killed and 100 injured after two trains collided in the southern German state of Bavaria on Tuesday morning. Eyewitnesses said the accident occurred around 6.48 a.m. (local time). The trains were plying between Holzkirchen and Rosenheim and the accident occurred near Bad Aibling. Police sources, however, did not divulge the actual number of fatalities and said that rescue work was underway at the site.
