Live volcano found under sheet of ice

Scientists may have the opportunity of finding out what happens when there's a volcanic eruption under ice.
Researchers have spotted a live volcano about a mile under Antarctica but they don't believe the volcano would have the power to beat the ice. However, if that does happen, the melted ice would make the sheet of Antarctica to flow into the sea and raise sea levels even more.
According to an expert, there's no way to tell when the eruption would happen and it would have a "huge effect" when it suddenly pops. He mentioned that its magma heat is probably already making the ice loose.
