Lightning kills 11 members of indigenous Colombian tribe

Lightning killed 11 members of a Colombian tribe, who were participating in a religious ceremony in a far-flung mountainous region. At least 15 people were injured.
Survivors, belonging to the Wiwa indigenous group, were airlifted to hospitals. Most of them suffered burn injuries. The accident occurred in the Sierra Nevada mountains near Guachaca in north Colombia, reports said.
Around 50 community members were assembling inside a temple when lightning struck, according to media reports.
