Lesotho PM forced to flee after attempted coup

There has been an attempted military coup on Saturday, August 30, in Lesotho, a small African nation, forcing the Prime Minister Thomas Thabane to go into hiding, reports said.
Thabane, who became PM in 2012, is reportedly fearing for his life, according to reports coming out of South Africa. He, however, insisted in an interview to a South African media outlet, that he will not quit his post.
Lesotho has a mainly Christian population and was a British colony till 1966. According to reports, the situation is calm in capital Maseru.
