Lava Strikes Tour Boat in Hawaii - Injures 23

  • According to the US officials, flying lava has injured 23 people after having struck a tour boat in Hawaii. There occurred an explosion which sent debris and rocks flying in the air. As per the reports, people have suffered burns with one passenger even nursing a broken leg. All the injured have been taken to the hospital. The explosion caused a hole in the tour boat's roof as it was taking visitors to see the view of lava plunging into the sea. The lave came from Kilauea volcano which first erupted in May and has been frequently spewing out molten rock and gas ever since.
