26 killed in Nepal landslides

  • Kathmandu, July 30, 2015 - Torrential rains triggered landslides in western Nepal leading to the death of at least 26 people. Officials have warned that the death toll could rise. As per media reports, dozens of people are missing in villages located near Pokhara, which lies around 200 km from Kathmandu. Officials said that rescue teams were searching houses buried by the landslides for possible survivors.
