Speculation over North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s health has increased in recent days as North Korean officials, in a rare public admission, said that the 31-year-old was suffering from an “uncomfortable physical condition”.
According to the rumor mill, Kim, who is said to be found of cheese, may be experiencing a painful spell of gout. His three-week absence from the public eye has fueled the latest round of rumors in South Korea and elsewhere.
Earlier in the year, he was seen limping, in state TV footage. South Korean media have reported that Kim could be suffering from ailments such as gout and diabetes.
