Kenya elections: One killed in clashes between the police and protestors

At least one person was killed and scores injured in clashes between the police and protestors in opposition strongholds as Kenya voted for a new President. The elections witnessed a low turnout of 48 percent; however, voting was peaceful in most of the country. But, Kisumu and the Kibera slum area of Nairobi, which are bastions of support for opposition leader Raila Odinga, witnessed tensions.
