April 26 , 2015
Voters in Kazakhstan are casting their ballot in a presidential poll which is expected to give another five years to president Nursultan Nazarbayev, who has already ruled the country for more than a quarter of a century.
Human rights organizations allege that the opposition has been suppressed by the government over the years.
Nazarbayev, 74, has been the Kazakh president since 1991 when the country became independent after the break-up of the USSR.
