Kashmir border firing claims more civilian lives
October 8 , 2014
Hundreds of villagers staying close to the border on the Indian side of Kashmir have left their homes as the exchange of fire between Indian and Pakistani troops continues.
At least 10 civilians have been killed in the firing so far, with both sides blaming the other for the flare-up, which is being described as one of the worst instances of cross-border firing in recent years.
India’s home minister Rajnath Singh said the country would “not tolerate” Pakistan’s “border violations”.
