Justin Trudeau reapproves Green Project

The recent news updates state that Justin Trudeau, the PM of Canada along with his cabinet has reapproved the expansion of Trans-Mountain oil pipeline project. Additionally, government will implement this project by using their profits, tax revenues and other subsequent funds. This clean energy venture that Canadian government is going to undertake was announced by the Prime Minister on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. Moreover, this green project which was approved back in 2016 was stopped by the Federal Court of Appeal in August 2018. These details related to the reconstruction of the pipeline were shared by the National Energy Board. Meanwhile, the Board stated that this second pipeline, other than the existing 714-mile pipeline which stretches from Strathcona County in Alberta to Burnaby of British Columbia, will boost up the capacity by 890,000 barrels of oil from 300,000 barrels of oil per day.
