John Kerry arrives in Turkey for talks on Israel and Syria

  • U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has arrived in Turkey, the first leg of a 10-day visit to Europe and Asia.

    His meetings with Turkish officials are expected to discuss ties with Israel and the ongoing conflict in Syria.

    Kerry is due to meet Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.

    After Turkey, Kerry will visit Israel, the West Bank, the UK, South Korea, China and Japan.
