Joe Biden's son discharged from US navy after failing cocaine test

  • Hunter Biden, the son of US vice-president Joe Biden, was removed from the US navy earlier this year after he tested positive for cocaine, media reports said.

He failed a test that was administered in June last year, according to reports. A navy spokesperson said Hunter was removed from the US navy reserve this February.

The 44-year-old Hunter expressed his regret and embarrassment over his “actions (that) led to my administrative discharge.”
