Jet search picks up fifth ping
April 11 , 2014
An aircraft hunting for the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 has detected a fifth ping, which has increased hopes that the plane's location could finally be found. The head of the Australian agency said the latest signal appears to be coming from a "man-made source," which means that the source could be the aircraft's black box recorders.
Moreover, CNN reported that the authorities say the signal did indeed come from the equipment and not from marine life.
Malaysian sources also provided CNN with some more details regarding the plane's final moments.
