Japanese authorities raid Suzuki's headquarters
June 3 , 2016
As part of continuing investigation into Suzuki’s use of improper fuel economy tests, Japanese authorities raided the company’s headquarters. According to media reports, officials were searching for documents that would support Suzuki’s earlier claims that it had not meant to mislead customers. In May, the car manufacturer had said that it had found discrepancies in its fuel emissions testing; however, the company denied any wrong doings.
