Japan Overturns 30 Year Ban on Whale Hunt

As per recent news updates, Japan is once again reviving history by following the tradition of whale hunting. News agencies state that on Monday, July 1, 2019 a ceremony in Japan took place before the fleet of ships were sent for the expedition. In this ceremony, an emotional speech was given by the Chairman of the Japan Small-Type Whaling Association, Yoshifumi Kai. Moreover, through his speech he addressed law-makers, assembly of whalers and the mayor of the Japanese port city of Kushiro. Interestingly, he declared that their catch was much better than expected. Meanwhile, it was an important day for Japan as 30 years old ban was once again revoked by the commercial whaling hunters.
