Suspect Wanted to Kill Only Disabled People
July 27, 2016: The suspect, Satoshi Uematsu wrote his ability to kill 470 disabled people and he also mentioned that he dreamt of a world where people with severe difficulties, who are counted among the disabled category, socializing as well as enabled to be peacefully euthanized. Nine men and 10 women were killed, while 26 others were injured in the attack.
19 Dead in Knife Attack in Japan
July 26, 2016: At least 19 people have died in a knife attack in Japan. As per media reports, the attack took place at a care center for people with mental disabilities in Sagamihara, which is located west of Tokyo. The attack has been described as the worst mass killing in decades. The police have arrested a 26-year-old former employee of the care center. The man identified as Satoshi Uematsu went to a nearby police station and admitted to the killings. He said that he wanted that people with disabilities should disappear.
