Japan Floods: Death Toll Reaches 126

According to the Japan government, at least 126 people are confirmed to be dead due to landslides and floods caused by torrential rain. This is the highest death toll the country has witnessed in the time frame of three decades. The rescue operation is going on to find the survivors, as dozens are still missing. Shinzo Abe, the Prime Minister of the country has even canceled his overseas trip in order to deal with the flood crisis.
A better weather is, however, expected for the coming days which would facilitate the rescue efforts.
