Israel won't be apologetic about land policies: Deputy foreign minister
May 22 , 2015
Tzipi Hotovely, the new deputy foreign minister of Israel, has said that her country owed no apologies for its policies on disputed territory, emphasizing that all of “this land is ours.”
She cited religious texts to bolster her hardline message on the issue, effectively indicating that she favored settlement work in the West Bank and was against handing back land to the Palestinians.
Hotovely urged the international community to “recognize Israel’s right to build homes” for the Jewish people “in their homeland.”
