Israel likely to see early polls after Netanyahu dismisses two ministers
December 3 , 2014
Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has said he wants early polls after dismissing two key cabinet ministers, resulting in the effective collapse of the coalition, according to media reports.
The members of cabinet dismissed are Tzipi Livni, the justice minister, and Yair Lapid, the finance minister.
Netanyahu said he was seeking to dissolve parliament and “taking the risk” of early polls “in order to improve governance.” He indicated that the instability of the government was no longer sustainable.
