ISIS has taken control of Ramadi, a key Iraqi city. As per media reports, the Iraqi security forces and tribal fighters were forced to pull out of a military base on the west side of the city after the ISIS militants detonated a series of car bomb blasts. Muhannad Haimour, a spokesman for the Anbar governor, said that more than 500 people have been killed in the clashes between the ISIS militants and government forces. On Sunday, many civilians fled Ramadi and headed towards safer places such as Baghdad. The US and Iraqi officials have said that the fight for Ramadi is still not over.
