March 12 , 2016
According to a UN report, ISIS has been expanding in Libya by taking full advantage of the political and security vacuum in the country. With Libya in turmoil since the death of dictator Muammar Gaddafi in 2011, the terror group has significantly captured the North African country. ISIS has been successful in recruiting the marginalised people of the central city of Sirte which is already in their control.
