Iran Lifted Ban on Women Entering Football Stadium

  • Iran has finally allowed its women to enter a football stadium for the first time in decades. It is believed that this decision has been taken right after FIFA menaced on suspending the Islamic republic over its debatable "male-only" policy. Women in Iran were banned from entering football stadium for over forty years with the ratiocination that women should be guarded from masculine energy. After the ban was lifted, tickets were sold out quick than usual for Iran's 2022 World Cup qualifier against Cambodia at Tehran's Azadi Stadium on Thursday.
