Iran deal could instigate nuclear fuel race: Saudi Arabia
March 16 , 2015
A deal on Iran’s nuclear program will result in other regional states developing atomic fuel, Prince Turki al-Faisal has said. The member of the Saudi royal family said that in such a scenario Saudi Arabia would seek same rights as those of the other nations. According to media reports, in an attempt to limit Iran’s nuclear activity, six major powers are negotiating an agreement. However, critics have warned that this may lead to a nuclear arms race in the region triggered by Iran-Saudi rivalry.
