Indonesia: Fears the volcano can trigger a new tsunami

  • Warnings have been issued to people residing in the coastal areas near Anak Krakatau volcano in Indonesia to stay away from the beaches. The warnings have been issued on fears that the volcano can trigger a new tsunami. On Saturday, at least 281 people were killed and more than 1,000 injured when huge waves swept through the coastal town in Java and Sumatra. On Sunday, the Anak Krakatau once again erupted.
