Indian nurses return home from Libya

Over 40 Indian nurses trapped in Libya have returned home, according to media reports. Most of the nurses were from the southern Indian state of Kerala and they were flown to Kochi after arriving in Tunisia.
Indian authorities have said other nurses will also be evacuated soon.
Indian nurses work in hospitals across Libya. An estimated 1,000 Indians are believed to be working in the cities of Tripoli and Benghazi.
Fighting between rival militias has intensified in recent weeks in Libya, leading to the closure of several foreign embassies in capital Tripoli.
