IMF Positive of Strongest Growth in 2018
April 18 , 2018
If the forecast of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is to be believed, then 2018 would be the strongest year since 2011 in terms of global growth. The new assessment stated by it in the World Economic Outlook predicts the growth to be 3.9% for this as well as next year ahead. However, it has also warned that the performance could see a setback due to the trade barriers. It also mentions some other potential risks that could curtail the growth. For the UK, the IMF predicts a 1.6% growth this year and a 1.5% for the next one.
