Hurricane Florence Gains Strength

  • Hurricane Florence in the US has reached the strength of Category 5, forcing orders for evacuating a million people. The hurricane was upgraded from Category 3 to Category 4 on Monday only. The orders have been given in coastal areas of Virginia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. The storm has been considered the strongest to strike the regions in a time span of decades. Winds were recorded to be blowing at 130mph speed and are further increasing in speed. Carolinas are expected to be hit by Thursday.
