Hungary PM Gets Elected for the Third Time

  • Viktor Orban, the Prime Minister of Hungary, has once again claimed victory in the general elections held on Sunday. This would mark his third term in the office and is reported to have a majority in the parliament by 66%. His party Fidesz was reported to get about half of the votes when 93% of the votes were counted. The highlight of his speech he gave to his supporters was in the light of defending the country. He stated that because of the victory there was an opportunity to defend themselves and to defend Hungary. One of the key promises during his election campaign was to defend the borders and stop Muslim migration.
