Human remains recovered from MH17 crash site
August 2 , 2014
Human remains and belongings of passengers have been recovered by a team of international investigators from the site of the crashed Malaysia Airlines plane in eastern Ukraine.
This was the team’s first visit to the area which is under the control of pro-Russian rebel fighters.
The head of the Dutch team Pieter-Jaap Aalbersberg said the entire search operation could take a minimum of three weeks provided the investigators could do their work at “maximum capacity” — but the prospects of that were bleak.
