  • HSBC Manager Charged with Fraud in the US

    July 21, 2016: A top HSBC manager Mark Johnson was arrested on Tuesday. Johnson, global head of foreign exchange trading in HSBC along with former colleague Stuart Scott have been charged with fraud in the United States. The US Department of Justice (DoJ) has accused the two of using inside information which they would use for a benefit of $3.5bn currency deal. After a court hearing on Wednesday, Johnson was released on $m bail.
