Hope may be lost in ferry search

It's less likely that more survivors in the South Korea ferry incident will be rescued since divers weren't able to find air pockets on the third and fourth floors of the vessel.
CNN reports that authorities have found 156 bodies and hundreds of people came together in the city of Ansan at a memorial. Reports suggest that visitors wept when they were shown photographs of teen victims.
South Koreans often say their country is a land of disasters after a series of disastrous incidents occurred over the past decade. Many are worried about people not caring much about safety and rules. "In South Korea, people who insist on abiding by basic rules are often considered annoying or inflexible, while those who are adept at dodging them are seen as smart," the New York Times notes.
