Hong Kong officials clear protest site
November 25 , 2014
Enforcing court orders, Hong Kong authorities have started clearing a protest site at Mong Kok, after urging pro-democracy activists to leave the area.
Protesters did not seem to offer any resistance to the move, media reports said.
Many young protesters have been camping at various sites in the city since October. Their key demand is absolute freedom in choosing a leader of their choice in the 2017 chief executive poll.
