  • There aren't many people who have fond memories of Adolf Hitler and the world just lost one of those last people.

Rochus Misch, Hitler's body guard died at the age of 96 just one month after publishing his book "The Last Witness".

Misch referred to Hitler as "the boss" and was extremely loyal to him. He stayed at the bunker with Hitler even the others left and was even allowed to have a weapon in there. "Life in the bunker was pretty normal," he said. "Hitler was mostly very calm. It was much less dramatic than shown by many historians."

Misch mentioned that the time he spent with Hitler in the Bavarian Alps was the happiest time of his life.

"It was wonderful, like a holiday."
