Hawaii Hit with Storms ahead of Hurricane Lane

  • Hawaii has been struck with torrential rains and strong winds as Hurricane Lane is approaching the state. The speed of winds was recorded to be 125 mph, as the hurricane loomed near. The emergency was declared in Hawaii earlier by President Donald Trump. According to the National Weather Service, the storm is downgraded to be labeled as less dangerous. However, the situation remains grave with flooding being the major concern. Due to the landslides, many roads were closed and vehicles were struggling to wade through water on the streets. Offices and schools were closed in the wake of the storm.
