July 6 , 2015
In a referendum, Greek voters rejected the terms of an international bailout. According to media reports, in the final results, 38.7 voted in favor of the bailout while 61.3 rejected it. Greece’s governing Syriza party, which considers the bailout terms humiliating, campaigned for a “No”. Opponents have warned that this action can result in Greece being ejected from the eurozone. A summit of eurozone heads of state will be held on Tuesday.
