Government of Germany Announces Mandatory Vaccination

  • As per recent news updates, German parents who fail to get measles vaccination for their children will have to pay hefty fines. Moreover, fines could extend up to US$2,800. This step is initiated by Jens Spahn, the country's Health Minister, with an aim to eradicate measles. The vaccination of children must be done before they enter kindergarten. The bill regarding the same is already in process. On the approval of the bill, all parents, before enrolling their children in the play school, will have to reveal all the necessary documents related to vaccination as a proof. This will help them to protect themselves from the fine too.
