Geneva, Switzerland: WHO Reports Highest Number of Coronavirus Cases in Last 24 Hours

On Wednesday, the World Health Organization (WHO) headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, confirmed that the highest number of cases had been reported in the headquarters in the last 24 hours since the novel Coronavirus began. Tedros Adhanom-Ghebreyesus, director-general of WHO said at a press briefing that "We still have a long way to go in this pandemic." He further said that a total of 106,000 cases was reported in the last 24 hours, amongst which two-thirds of these cases were reported in just four countries such as the United States, Russia, Brazil, and India.
