Gaza war: Rocket attacks by Hamas amounted to war crimes, says Amnesty
March 26 , 2015
Rocket and mortar fire by Hamas and other Palestinian groups in Gaza during last year’s conflict constituted war crimes, according to Amnesty International.
The militants had displayed a “flagrant disregard” for civilian lives during the 2014 war, the report says.
Such attacks were reportedly responsible for the death of six Israeli civilians and 13 Palestinians.
Hamas, however, said that the report had several false allegations and inaccuracies. Israel welcomed the report.
