Gaza attacks: Criminal probe ordered by Israeli military

  • A criminal probe has been ordered by Israel’s military into five incidents during the Gaza war including a July 16 air strike on a beach that killed four children and the shelling of a United Nations school on July 24 that killed 15 people in Beit Hanoun.

Several other cases may be investigated as well. More than 2,000 people, a majority of them Palestinian civilians, were killed in the 50-day war.
