July 7 , 2017
On July 6 German police used pepper spray and water cannon in order to disperse anti-capitalist protesters after they clashed with the police at Hamburg. This happened even as prominent political figures like Donald Trump, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Xi Jinping started to arrive at the second biggest city in Germany for the latest G20 summit. As per police, 74 officers were injured across the evening with most of them sustaining minor injuries. March organizers also said that a number of protesters were injured as well.
