Fresh Case Reported in New Zealand As Quarantine Breaches Emerge

  • New Coronavirus cases are being reported in New Zealand after a breach of quarantine rules in the country. After a 24 hour streak of no cases - on Thursday, one case was reported when a man in his 60s arrived in Auckland from Pakistan on June 13 on flight NZ124, transmitting through Doha and Melbourne. Dr. Ashley Bloomfield, the director-general of health, confirmed that all passengers on the flight had been alerted, and their overseas counterpart for other flights have been alerted as well. The man is now in a quarantine facility in Auckland, Bloomfield.
